Summary of the PM

On 19th of January 2021 the UEF Presidency had a new virtual meeting.

This Zoom Presidency Meeting was at 19:00 o´clock MET.

 

Main topics were:

  • further actions concerning the new EU Forest Strategy
  • discussions about the new headquarter of Forest Europe in Bonn (liaison unit)
    and the chance to involve Forest Europe in the process of the implementation of a new financing system
  • Communication topics, including the next Presidency Letter, April 2021
  • Meaningfulness of an UEF participation in 2 running Public Consultions regarding the Biodiversity Strategy
    Even if the Strategy has been adopted EC is asking for a feedback in 2 consultations:
