Presidency meeting - 23 October 2025


The UEF Presidency met online on 23 October 2025 to review recent forestry events, financial matters and organisational priorities.

Members discussed the Forest Europe process and opportunities for UEF to contribute to the development of sustainable forest management criteria, as well as the successful 19th Forest Pedagogics Congress in Hungary.

Financial and administrative matters included cooperation with Deloitte, website maintenance and measures to improve the organisation’s online communication.

The Presidency also agreed to strengthen membership engagement by assigning responsibility for groups of European countries to individual members and improving regular reporting.

The meeting reaffirmed UEF’s commitment to strengthening European forestry cooperation, promoting knowledge exchange and supporting sustainable forest management.
