Presidency meeting - 24 November 2025


On 24 November 2025, the UEF Presidency met online to review organisational responsibilities, communication priorities and upcoming activities.

Members confirmed their respective roles in policy coordination, stakeholder relations, website management, membership development, secretarial duties and financial administration.

Improving the UEF website and strengthening communication with existing and prospective members were identified as key priorities. The Presidency also discussed opportunities to cooperate with the European Commission on practical forestry topics, including the Nature Restoration Law and forest inventories.

Preparations for upcoming Forest Europe and Stakeholder Platform meetings were reviewed, alongside plans for a potential Regional/Representative Meeting in 2026.

The meeting reaffirmed UEF’s commitment to strengthening European forestry cooperation, improving stakeholder engagement and promoting knowledge exchange between forestry professionals and policymakers.
