Presidency meeting - Brussels, 24 June 2026


On 24 June 2026, the UEF Presidency met in Brussels to discuss key organisational priorities and upcoming activities.

The meeting focused on preparations for the Governing Council Meeting (GCM) 2026 in October and the initial planning of GCM 2027 in Austria.

Members reviewed the outcomes of the 2026 RTM, discussed financial and administrative matters, and explored opportunities to strengthen UEF membership and cooperation with European forestry organisations.

Updates were also shared on the Forest Europe process and other European forestry initiatives, highlighting the importance of sustainable forest management and international collaboration.

The meeting reaffirmed UEF’s commitment to strengthening the European forestry community and promoting resilient forests for the future.
