UEF attended the Forest for the Independent Republic of Poland Conference in Warsaw

Under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, the Polish Ministry of Environment and the State Forest National Forest Holding of Poland organized on 8th of September 2018 in the Belvedere Palace in Warsaw a conference entitled "Forest for the Independent Republic of Poland".

More than 100 participants met President Duda, Minister Kowalczyk and Director General Konieczny at the opening event for the Environment Protection Days.

The conference aimed to commemorate the regaining of independence of Poland and the 100th anniversary of the existence of a  forest administration in Poland.

UEF attended this interesting and high level event and was invited to participate actively in the conference.

UEF President Michael Diemer held a presentation on "UEF and participation of Polish forestry in international perspective".
UEF was also represented by the former President Prof. Piotr Paschalis Jakubowicz and by Vice President Tomasz Markiewiecz.
