Meetings in Brussels in June with the EU Commission.

At the end of June there were 2 meetings on Forestry scheduled in Brussels.

On 24th the Civil Dialogue Group on Forestry and Cork had the first meeting for 2015 and on 25th of June the Workgroup on Sustainable Forest Management Criteria have had the fifth and concluding meeting. As a permanent member in both groups, UEF was represented in these meetings.

The main topic has been the Implementation of the new Forest Strategy. But Natura 2000, LULUCF, the timber regulation and the Circular economy were discussed as well.
