A rising public demand in Denmark, to cease timber production is on the rise. EU has decreed a stop of biodiversity loss by 2020. Are we on the brink of a major paradigm shift in Danish forestry? Moreover, what about the rest of Europe?

2.  How big a role do you think your forests (specific country) have in saving biodiversity? E.g. in Denmark the forests have been pointed out as the most economic/easy way to accede the EU demands
3. Are there a rising public demand for more biodiversity in you r country? Is the forest/forestry part of that debate? Alternatively, is it solely the agricultural landscape, which is the aim for biodiversity debates?
